Civil Wars

Yesterday, we,… some of us, Malagasy people voted for a new Constitutional Referendum for a 4th Republic, YES or NO. We don’t have yet the final result, but so far, the YES win … I’ve never been interested in politics, but in everything you do or want to do, policital power have a significant impact on your activity which makes you, involotary, involved in politics.

It just happened that yesterday also, there were a documentary about Africa on one of our national TV channel, it was about Africa’s History during the 40’s till the 70’s. How disappointed and sad I was  when I discovered that just after each fight for independancy of each country, there were civil wars. African were so proud to be independant, changed their country names, but then for what? a civil war ? Let’s say they didn’t foresee that it made many civil victims, caused famine that killed many innocents, traumatised families due to tortures and witnessing extrem violences, and the worst,  stole kids childhood with their “child soldier”. Those  so called “people’s leader”, “country lovers” praise democracy and liberty. In fact, all they care is how to maintain their power and how to steal money from their country, no matter the consequences for the population and the future generation.

CIVIL WARS

Then, I realize that all movies about Africa such as

  • Blood Diamond (Leonardo DiCaprio, Djimon Hounsou) nominated for 5 Oscars – based on Civil War in Sierra Leone (1996-1999),
  • Hotel Rwanda” (Don Cheadle) nominated for 3 oscars – based on Civil War (1990-1993) and Genocide 1994,
  • Tears of the sun” (Bruce Willis, Monica Bellucci) – based on Civil War in Nigeria (1967-1970),  … those are still far from reality.

I am ashamed. Why ask for independancy if it is to kill each others after ?

QUOTES From “Blood Diamond

Fact and Fiction

I have to agree that movies tend to be dramatical sometimes, almost like soap opera. They extend an event, a fact that might be not that terrible, into a dramatic giant conspiracy. They may not have great success at the Box Office or in movie Critics, but for sure, it’s annoying ! I guess that’s the purpose : make people think!  Yesterday, I watched “The Fourth kind”.

The Fouth Kind

I can’t help wondering, can it be possible? Not the way they presented it. But, is it possible that there is someone or something bigger than us? far smarter than us, studying us like if we are rats lab?  After all, there are many events that us, simple human beings can not explain…

QUOTES – Introduction :

I’m actress Milla Jovovich, and I will be portraying Dr. Abigail Tyler in The Fourth Kind. This film is a dramatization of events that occurred October 1st through the 9th of 2000, in the Northern Alaskan town of Nome. To better explain the events of this story, the director has included actual archived footage throughout the film. This footage was acquired from Nome psychologist Dr. Abigail Tyler, who has personally documented over 65 hours of video and audio materials during the time of the incidents. To better protect their privacy, we have changed the names and professions of many of the people involved. Every dramatized scene in this movie is supported by either archived audio, video or as it was related by Dr. Tyler during extensive interviews with the director. In the end, what you believe is yours to decide. Please be advised, that some of what you’re about to see is extremely disturbing.

Little expalnation :

Abbey Tyler: An encounter in the first kind, that’s when you see a UFO. The second kind is when you see evidence of it: crop circles, radiation. The third kind is when you make contact. But the fourth kind, there’s nothing more frightening than the fourth. You see, that one is when they abduct you.
